Hooray, the American Library Association announced this year's Youth Media Awards, kind of like the Academy Awards of children's literature...the most famous being the Caldecott for children's book illustration and the Newbery for writing! What perfect timing, we have been studying children's book awards in the fifth grade. We already have several of this year's winners in our library collection already...Stone is always one step ahead, and Stone Bookworms are the real winners!
