SPRING BOOK SWAP
in the school library
for grades 3-5!
Thursday, March 24th, 12:00 noon
Hey, kids! Bring in up to five children’s books that you don’t want any
more and that you imagine another kid would enjoy! A chapter book, picture book or some
nonfiction you’ve finished or outgrown…
For each book you donate up to five books, you will
receive a special library “dollar” to spend at the book swap on the last day of school before the
long weekend! So sorry, this event is one day only. If you are absent, dollars will be forfeited.
Get your parent or guardian’s permission to contribute the book to the swap. Please make sure it’s one you want to donate and won’t need back. In the immortal words of a wise child, “no trade-backs, no nothing-backs.” Also, please make sure they are age-appropriate. Young adult and adult books will not be accepted, sorry.
Bring in your book swap donations at the start or end of the school day any day before March 24th! Parents, just in time for spring cleaning, please bring in your used children’s books to donate!

SPRING INTO
READING!!!
Follow up: great participation! High five, Stone Bookworms...or rather, high five-hundred, as over 500 books were swapped in one afternoon! That's a lot of books exchanged, new pages turned and a great example of Stone students reusing resources.
